Library Board Meeting

January 09, 2024

 

Present: Paul McKinley, Linda Johnson, Shirley Pyle, Janet Haradine, Kathleen Copp, Cindy Schneider, Leslie Clark, Roberta Kile, Beth O’Grady, Janette Kipp

 

Meeting called to order by President Paul McKinley at 3:00 p.m. at the Carson City Public Library.

 

Motion by Johnson, seconded by Pyle, to approve the agenda. Motion passed.

 

Motion by Pyle, seconded by Schneider, to approve the minutes of the last meeting. Motion passed.

Motion by Haradine, seconded by Kile, to accept the Treasurer’s report. Motion passed.

 

Motion by Copp, seconded by Clark, to approve the bills paid in November and December, 2023. Motion passed.

 

Motion by Pyle, seconded by Copp, to accept Nick Heimler’s bid for new switches and installation, managed internal broadband and basic maintenance services for the Carson City Public Library and Crystal Community Library which is E-Rate reimbursable. Motion passed.

 

Discussion of preliminary 2023/2024 budget. Board will come back to it at the March 2024 meeting.

 

Motion by Schneider, seconded by Johnson, to adjourn. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 3:50 p.m.
